The documentary-film combines original film-material from the african liberation movements from the 60s and 70s with extracts from Frantz Fanons "The Wretched of the Earth" (spoken by the rap-musician Lauryn Hill) in a collage of political violence. Directed by Göran Olsson (Sweden), who also was the director of "The Black Power Mixtape". The black french philosopher and psychiatrist Frantz Fanon wrote his book in 1961 as a radical manifest against colonialisation and for liberation from the rassist colonial context.
